In March 2016 was my first visit to Siwa Oasis .. I went to it with an endless number of stories from friends about this magical sunset scenes that I will never see before.
I sit in a small café in the first moments of the sunrise..I meet an amazing young man from the people of the oasis.
On the way to Abu Shrouf’s, one of the distant wells … everything around me is gray, thick curtains of gray color everywhere.. dry dark branches scattered scattered from the surface of the water..
As that all of the above was a prelude to the sunrise in the charming oasis.. a majestic sunrise. It was as if a large hand holding thousands of pearls scattered them on the surface of the water in a distant spot on the horizon to celebrate the birth of hope again.. Those pearls shining on my feet on the water’s edge…
All the previous stories of friends about sunset in Siwa Oasis have dissipated.
