In a variant tradition from what I used to make in the past, that is my constant adherence to displaying artworks that fall under the category of painting. I always paint, and do not get away from working, under the verbal umbrella of the technical term (oil on canvas).
However, I found a passion in my own self to show a set of preparatory drawings and previous studies for some artistic projects implemented with painting materials. These drawings and those careful studies that carry with them the charge of feelings and the burst of the first sincere emotions of those nervous tensions of the hand back and forth motions over that variant surface. That surface always bears the brunt of the first feeling, without haunting calculations or exhausting fantasies of what the artwork will be like when it’s finished.
Greetings to that surface which has always accompanied me in all previous beginnings…

فى تقليد مغاير عما كنت أقوم به بالسابق وهو تمسكى الدائم بعرض أعمال تقبع تحت تصنيف فن التصوير.. فأنا دوما لا أتفلت ولا أنفك من العمل تحت المظلة اللفظية للمصطلح التقنى ( زيت على توال )
الا اننى وجدت فى نفسى شوقا لعرض مجموعة من الرسوم التحضيرية والدراسات السابقة لبعض المشروعات الفنية المنفذة بخامات الرسم .. هذه الرسوم وتلك الدراسات المتأنية التى تحمل بين طياتها شحنة المشاعرودفقة الانفعالات الصادقة الاولى لتلك التوترات العصبية لحركة اليد ذهابا و ايابا فوق ذلك السطح المغاير.. ذلك السطح الذى تحمل دوما وطأة حمل الاحساس الاول بلا حسابات مؤرقة أو تخيلات مرهقة لما سيكون عليه العمل الفنى عند انتهاؤه
تحية الي ذلك السطح الذى رافقنى دوما فى كل البدايات السابقة .. تحية الى تلك الاوقات التى قضيتها حرا طليقا و أنا أرسم على ورق
